Do we need to search for a hidden message in the Bible?

Scripture is not a secret code that only a few people can unlock. God has given his word to teach, guide, and make us wise.

“The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.” (Ps. 19:7)

And what was once described as a mystery has now been revealed in Christ.

The goal is not to hunt for hidden meanings — it is to read Scripture carefully, understand it faithfully, and live by what God has made known. 📖✝️

After the fall in Genesis 3, what was cursed?

Scripture specifically says the serpent was cursed and the ground was cursed because of Adam.

“The LORD God said to the serpent… ‘cursed are you…’” (Gen. 3:14)

And to Adam:

“Cursed is the ground because of you…” (Gen. 3:17)

Humanity fell into sin and came under its consequences, but the wording of Genesis 3 places the explicit curse on the serpent and the ground.

Sin changed everything — but even in Genesis 3, God’s plan of redemption was already unfolding. ✝️

Does faith seek understanding?

Yes — biblical faith is not opposed to understanding. It begins by trusting God and then seeks to know him, his word, and his truth more deeply.

“By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God…” (Heb. 11:3).

Faith does not require us to stop thinking. It gives us a foundation from which to ask, learn, study, and grow.

Believe — and keep seeking to understand. ✝️

What is the most important decision you will ever make?

Scripture points us to Jesus Christ.

“And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.” (1 John 5:11)

The world offers many paths — success, pleasure, self, and empty promises — but eternal life is found in Christ.

“Choose this day whom you will serve.” (Josh. 24:15)

The question is not only what you believe, but whom you will follow. ✝️

From whom do we receive good things?

Scripture points us back to God, our Father.

Jesus reminds us that if earthly parents know how to give good gifts, how much more will our Father in heaven give what is good. James says the same:

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above…” (James 1:17)

The blessings in our lives are not ultimately random — they come from a God who is good, generous, and unchanging. ✨

Every good gift points us back to the Giver.
