Should we fear?
Fear is real — but Scripture teaches us where to turn when it comes.
“Fear not, for I am with you… I will strengthen you, I will help you.” (Isa. 41:10)
God does not promise that we will never feel afraid. Psalm 56:3 says, “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
The answer to fear is not pretending everything is fine. It is choosing to trust the God who is with us, strengthens us, and holds us fast. ✝️
What is the legal demand due to God?
Scripture shows that we are accountable to God and that sin leaves us with a debt we cannot cancel ourselves.
But Colossians 2 gives us the good news:
“He forgave us all our trespasses, by cancelling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands.” (Col. 2:13–14)
God’s standard is perfect obedience — and we fall short. Yet in Christ, the debt is cancelled.
What we could never repay, Jesus dealt with at the cross. ✝️

Is sin venial and mortal?
Scripture teaches that all sin is serious, because “the wages of sin is death.” (Rom. 6:23)
Sin brings death, but the gospel gives us the greater truth: God offers eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
“The sting of death is sin… But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Cor. 15:56–57)
Our hope is not in trying to make sin seem small — it is in Christ, who gives forgiveness, victory, and eternal life. ✝️
Do we really understand grace?
Grace is God giving what we could never earn and do not deserve.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God…” (Eph. 2:8)
Salvation is not something we achieve through good works or personal effort. It is a gift from God, received through faith.
Grace leaves no room for boasting — only gratitude, humility, and love for the one who gave it. ❤️✝️

Can we add to or take away from God’s Word?
Scripture repeatedly warns us to treat God’s Word with seriousness.
“You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it…” (Deut. 4:2)
Proverbs gives the same warning, and Revelation closes with a strong reminder not to alter the words God has given.
Our task is not to reshape Scripture to fit our preferences — it is to hear it, understand it, and obey it faithfully. 📖✝️
