How can you belong to the Kingdom of God?

Jesus gives the answer plainly: you must be born again.

Belonging to God’s Kingdom is not about outward religion or simply calling yourself a Christian. It begins with new life from God — believing that Jesus is the Christ, loving God, and living in obedience to him.

“Unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)

New birth changes who we belong to, what we love, and how we live.

Scripture makes it clear that our own righteousness can never make us right before God. What we need is not better works, but the righteousness of Christ credited to those who believe in him.

Our confidence is not in what we have done, but in what Jesus has done for us. ✝️

How mighty and perfect is the order of God

In Job 38:8–11, God reminds Job that even the mighty sea moves only as far as He allows. The waves may roar, but they remain under the authority of their Creator.

Nothing in creation is outside his order, his power, or his control.

Belonging to the good shepherd

There is comfort in knowing that we belong to the good shepherd. 🤍

He leads us, provides for us, restores us, and guides us in the way of righteousness. Even when life feels uncertain, we can rest in the truth that our Shepherd knows exactly where he is leading us.

“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Ps. 23:1)

And Jesus reminds us:
“I am the good shepherd.” (John 10:11).

We are not wandering alone. We belong to him. 🐑🌿
