We all ask the big questions.

Why do we die?

Death was never God’s original design. Sin brought death into the world, but God didn’t leave us without hope.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Rom 6:23)

That gift isn’t earned.
It isn’t deserved.
It is offered freely through Jesus Christ.

And one day, every person will stand before Him.

“At the name of Jesus every knee should bow…” (Phil 2:10)

The most important question isn’t whether Jesus existed.

It’s what you will do with Him.

Whatever you do, do it for the glory of God.

Our studies, our work, our relationships, our conversations, our decisions—even the ordinary moments of eating and drinking—are opportunities to honour the one who created and redeemed us.

Our purpose is not to make much of ourselves, but to make much of Christ.

What is wisdom

Unpacking wisdom biblically

The world often says wisdom is found in knowledge, success, wealth, or experience.

But Scripture points us somewhere far greater.

The Heidelberg Catechism (1563), Question 18, reminds us that Jesus Christ is made unto us wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:30–31).

True wisdom is not merely knowing more—it is knowing Christ.

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.” (Prov 1:7).

“Because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God—righteousness and sanctification and redemption.” (1 Cor 1:30)

If you are looking for wisdom, begin where the Bible begins: with reverence for God and faith in His Son—Jesus Christ our Saviour—who is our wisdom.

How does the world answer yes

Understand this

The world has many ways of saying “yes.”

“Yes… if nothing better comes along.”
“Yes… if I still feel like it.”
“Yes… let’s see what happens.”
“Yes… I’ll try.”

But Jesus calls His followers to something different.

“Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.” (Matt 5:37)
