Simple Scripture

Tomorrow is never promised.

The Bible doesn’t say, “Repent when you’re ready.”
It says, “Repent and believe the gospel.”

Every one of us is walking toward eternity. The question isn’t if—it’s where.

Repentance isn’t simply feeling sorry for sin. It’s turning away from sin and turning to God through faith in Jesus Christ. See more for whom Jesus came here.

Don’t harden your heart. Don’t delay. Today is the day to respond to the gospel.

“Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:3)

Pride versus humilty

Scripture Answers all

Pride tells us to exalt ourselves.

Jesus, the King of kings, humbled himself to the point of death on a cross.

The difference between sinful humanity and our perfect saviour couldn’t be greater. One leads to destruction. The other leads to life. May we stop looking to ourselves and instead look to Christ, who gave everything to save sinners like us.

The Bible’s answer is wonderfully simple:

Whatever you do, do it for the glory of God.

Our studies, our work, our relationships, our conversations, our decisions—even the ordinary moments of eating and drinking—are opportunities to honour the one who created and redeemed us.

Our purpose is not to make much of ourselves, but to make much of Christ.

Can we trust God’s Word?

How does the world answer yes

Understand this

The world has many ways of saying “yes.”

“Yes… if nothing better comes along.”
“Yes… if I still feel like it.”
“Yes… let’s see what happens.”
“Yes… I’ll try.”

But Jesus calls His followers to something different.

“Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.” (Matt 5:37)
