Scripture
In what—or in whom—do you boast?
Scripture turns our attention away from ourselves and back to Christ.
“Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” (2 Cor. 10:17)
Paul even says he would boast in his weaknesses, because they made the power of Christ more evident in his life.
The Christian life is not about showing how strong, successful, or impressive we are. It is about recognising that everything we have and everything we are ultimately points back to the Lord. ✝️
