“The righteous shall live by faith.” (Rom. 1:17)
Hebrews 11 shows us what that faith looks like in action.
- By faith Abraham obeyed.
- By faith Sarah trusted.
- By faith Moses chose God’s way.
- By faith Israel crossed the Red Sea.
- By faith the walls of Jericho fell.
- By faith Rahab believed.
Faith is not passive — it trusts God enough to act on His Word, even when the outcome cannot yet be seen.
“Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith.” (Heb. 13:7)
But our righteousness is vested in faith in the absolute perfect one: Jesus Christ, sinless, perfecter of my faith.
